A recent graduate of and research resident at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), I am a project based artist most excited by the confluence of art and social structures, interactions, and politics. My earlier work explored issues of gender and identity politics through sculpture and video, often with elements of absurdity, fantasy, and satire. My current practice uses research and speculation to create objects/experiences as a call to action for rethinking relationships between humans and nonhuman others.
I also teach at BMCC, CCNY, and NYU. My work has been seen at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, written about in Apartment Therapy, Al Jazeera America, and the Verge. I've worked with Beatriz Da Costa and Natalie Jeremijenko and written a feature for Art 21.
